Sew a vintage-style cover-up with the Caroll Shrug! The Caroll is inspired by the groundbreaking creations of fashion designer Claire McCardell in the late 1940s. The Caroll is a simple, bias cut cover-up that can be sewn in just about any fabric—woven or knit. This versatile pattern can be made in a single fabric or color blocked and can be made either lined or as a single layer. The Caroll is designed to pair with the , but looks fabulous over any dress or top.

The Caroll Shrug is a Cashmerette Club x Julie Eilber collaboration.

    SIZING

Sizes A-C; includes 33-62” full bust. This shrug has a very flexible fit, so has a different sizing scheme to standard Cashmerette patterns. Use the tables in the "Fabric Requirements & Measurements" section to determine your size for this pattern.

    RECOMMENDED FABRIC

Main fabric: Light- to mid-weight fabrics. This design is very versatile and can be made out of most fabrics, either woven or knit. Lining: Lightweight woven lining such as bemberg rayon or a lightweight jersey.

    NOTIONS

Microtex, ballpoint, or stretch needle (depending on fabric choice), thread.
